How its made

Tuesday 28th November 2017

We take a clear polished 3D glass crystal block and transform it into a work of art, using our sub surface laser engraving machine.

The process consists of a high powered laser, that focuses at pre determined points programmed through our software. (more on that in a future post)

The focused light then creates minuscule cracks within the crystal sculpture, which then reflect light, making them visible to the naked eye.

Each image we create here at 3D Crystal Photo consists of millions of these minute cracks, giving our clients immaculate detail in their products.

We use this method to take 2D images provided by our clients and bring them to life inside the crystal.

Creating a timeless sculpture that can be presented as a gift for any occasion.
